Hose Testing Benches
Testing of hydraulic hose assemblies with static pressure is a final hose assembly inspection for leak tightness and strength. For standard testing of hydraulic hoses 2 x working pressure is applied. Testing is conducted with static pressure and lasts for a dozens of seconds. Testing can be conducted on a part or 100% of certain production series.
Hose Skiving and Fitting Inserting Machines
Hose Skiving and Fitting Inserting Machines
Skiving of external or internal layer of certain types of hydraulic rubber hoses is needed before crimping takes place. For that purpose simple manual or semi-automatic skiving machines were developed
Hose Cutting Machines
Cutting machines, with electric drive, designed to cut hydraulic hoses with steel or textile braid as well as some industrial hoses. Equipped with standard (smooth) or toothed cutting blades with 2900 r.p.m. speed of rotation. Hose is manually (lever), pneumatically or hydraulically (foot-lever) pressed against the blade. The most important cutting machines parameters are: hose external diameter, type of hose to be cut, type of motor, drive and available accessories such as e.g. hose boss, cuts counter and length measuring unit. Automatic machines, that cut a certain length of the hose, are used for multi series production.
Hose Crimping Machines
Lillbacka Powerco Oy was established in 1969 in Finland. First models of crimping machines launched in the early seventies turned out to be a great success. The crimping machines under the brand name of Finn-Power are sold around the world. Generally, all leading producers of high pressure hose assemblies and industrial hose assemblies rely on hydraulic crimping machines and Finn-Power is the natural choice. But apart from those applications, the crimping machines are also used in such fields as: car parts production, construction equipment, heavy machinery, railway engineering, shipbuilding, transmission of electricity, pipes, wire and electric cables production.
Other instrumentation valves and filters
Apart from ball valves and needle valves, instrumentation systems also include:
Instrumentation needle valves
Needle valves (depending on the type of valve and stem applied) are used to control flow rates, to open or close the flow completely and for metering media. As opposed to ball valves, the needle valve is opened and closed by turning a knob many times. The process is gradual, no sudden rise or drop of pressure occurs, which is critical especially for high pressure gas applications and high flow velocity. The needle valves, with a special regulating stem in particular, can be used to control the flow rate in a system.
Instrumentation ball valves
Instrumentation ball valves (instrumentation) have the following features:
Instrumentation threaded connectors
Threaded connectors (adapters) designed for connecting instrumentation elements, with connections sealed on NPT pipe taper thread. NPT thread to BSP, BSPT and UN thread adapters. Straight connectors, reducers, muffs, nipples, elbows, tees, crosses, pipe unions, dust caps, plugs and hose fittings.
Ultra High Pressure SPIR STAR Hoses and Accessories
SPIR STAR hoses are designed for ultra high pressures (UHP) reaching to 3200 bar. Internal and external layer are made of highest quality thermoplastic materials with up to 8 layers of high-tensile spring wire reinforcement. DN from 3 mm to 25 mm. Available as complete hose assemblies with a various range of possible connections. Advantages: Lightweight, wide chemical resistance, ability to produce a hose assembly with 4500 m length as well as resistance to UV radiation, ozone, aging, seawater, external pressure, impulse operation and permeability.
Ultra High Pressure Thermoplastic Hoses and Fittings
Thermoplastic hoses are designed for pressure not exceeding 800 bar. External layer manufactured from abrasion resistant polyurethane, internal layer of polyether or polyamide reinforced by max 3 layers of steel or aramid braid. Widely used in hydraulic systems, rescue equipment, lifts and pumps for hydraulic oil, paints, solvents, isocyanines and polyols.
